Wool and Wine Run - July 21st.

Please join us for a fun repeat of a 2015 cruise to a working alpaca farm to see our 3 year old namesake, Ms. Triumph Alpaca. After the farm visit, we will visit a delightful winery located near Mt. Joy, PA in Lancaster County. We will be gathering at the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville, PA in the parking area to the left of the entry road. Departure time is set for 10:00 am for an approximately 30 mile leisurely country ride to Eastland Alpacas located at 2089 Risser Mill Road, Mt. Joy, PA. Entry to the farm will include a $5.00 suggested donation per person. After we complete our 1 to 1-1/2 hour tour and visitation with the alpacas, we will motor on over to The Vineyard at Grandview which is an easy 2 mile jaunt around the bend and over the hill from the farm.

A beautiful outside deck with umbrellas awaits for all to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch you brought with you and sample some of Lancaster County's finest wines. Please check out the website link below for the types of wine and pricing. There is a $6.00 tasting fee per person for a full wine tasting or a couple can split 6 samples such as 3 per person for $6. The tasting fee is waived for an individual if you purchase 3 or more bottles of wine. This purchase can include a bottle of cold wine to enjoy with your picnic lunch (no food available at the winery) and take the remaining back home. You can also purchase wine by the glass to drink with your lunch without participating in the tasting if you are daring and know what you like. In the event of sudden inclement or extra hot weather, a very comfy indoor seating area is also available at the winery.
