This isn't an official club event. It's just a few folks that travel up to the Glen each year for the SVRA vintage car races and end-of-year party thrown by the Village of Watkins Glen. There are lots of events to attend in addition to the races and on Friday night they close down the main street of Watkins Glen and PARTY!

If you are going up and would like to travel with the group, email John Krause at this link to make arrangements.

Goodbye Summer Picnic at the WEST SHORE ELKS PICNIC GROUNDS - September 17th.

After a great year of driving events, we always gather to say goodbye to summer with a picnic. This is the one event all year that you do not want to miss. Picnic starts at 1PM. John will have the club regalia available for you. Also, many unique and desirable gifts have been donated by our friends and will be available for your bid at our silent auction.

This year the Summer Picnic will be held at the West Shore Elks Picnic Grounds. The address is 108 St. Johns Rd, Camp Hill PA. This is the same venue we met at in April for our postponed Winter Wonderland event. Those in attendance remember how wonderful the food was. No one left being disappointed. When you arrive at 1:00 PM, drive around to the right side of the building and go to the back picnic area parking which will be reserved just for us. Spend some time mingling with other members and participating in our famous Silent Auction.

At 2:00 PM we will feast on fabulous Picnic buffet. Menu includes Fresh grilled burgers, hot dogs, slow braised hand pulled pulled pork, baked beans, homemade mac and cheese, pasta salad, coleslaw fresh fruit salad relish tray, cheese and fresh baked cookies. Drinks include coffee, tea and spring water. A Cash bar will be available.

The cost of the picnic is again being subsidized by the club, so member prices are $17 per person. Send your check to John Krause at the club address found at the bottom of this page. Your response would be appreciated by September 8th.
