The CPTC was formed in the Spring of 1989, and shortly thereafter became a chapter of the Vintage Triumph Register. The club has found an untapped source of Triumph enthusiasts, with a membership of around 150. The purpose of the organization is the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of all automobiles built by the Triumph Motor Company and its successors, 1923 through 1981. The organization encourages research related to Triumph history, and disseminates technical and historic information to the members. The club publishes an excellent monthly newsletter. Meetings, tours, rallies, shows, tech sessions, picnics and other activities relating to the enjoyment of Triumph automobiles, are all part of a year round activity schedule. The CPTC is an organization filled with friendly non-pretentious people who have a common love for British automobiles. If you are looking for lots of technical and social activity, this is the club for you. Annual dues are only USD 20.00.
Our current Club Officers are…

My love affair with Triumph cars started in 1967 with purchase of a 59 TR3. Poor car survived my ownership and won my respect. I joined CPTC in year 2000. I live in York with a garage full of Brit cars. In my fifth year of retirement, I continue to run the wheels off them. See ya on the road!

I was born and raised in Carlisle Pa. I was 15 in 1971. I rode my bike around town to used car lots all the time to look at what was for sale. I spotted a 1968 Spitfire…….dark blue. I was simply in love with the thing and tried to think of ways to make a trade deal with my Schwinn Varsity ten speed. Well, that didn’t happen and life did. In 1989, I finally bought a 1979 Spitfire and still have it after a complete restoration. Other cars have come and gone but my Spitfire and GT6 project will always be with me. I’m single and show up to club events alone, but as soon as I meet up with our members, I feel right at home and among great friends.

I joined CPTC in June 2016 after purchasing my pageant blue 1979 MGB. My first car show was in Gettysburg, July 2016, along with my brother, Jeff Small and his 1965 MGB. This was a very special car show in our hometown. Most of you know that I am a Special Education teacher with lots of energy, so I love to plan and organize outings for our car club. I am very good at keeping good records so being secretary is a perfect job for me. Thanks again for your support this past summer/fall with all of our club outings that I planned.

My husband, Denny, purchased our 1976 red TR6 in 2012 and it wasnโt long before we discovered the CPTC and joined this great group of enthusiasts. We thoroughly enjoy the interesting activities, spring and fall car tours and the friendly camaraderie among the members. It is a great club in which to participate with our fun car. Since my former job was working for a car club, I believe I can contribute with helpful suggestions. Thank you for your support!

My interest in Triumphs began with the purchase of a shiny new TR6 in 1972. Obviously, I was single at the time! Although I eventually sold the car, the interest remained and I finally purchased a ’73 TR6 about 7 years ago. Since that time, Mary Beth & I had the good fortune to join the CPTC, a great club with plenty of interesting (and fun) social activities and friendly and knowledgeable members!

I bought my 1973 TR6 in 1993 and used it for daily driving for about 2 years. After that the car was in my garage for almost 30 years. The car is not badly worn from kids playing in the car. Retired from software development in 2020 , I am focused now on the TR6 maintenance. With more garage space now , I have a 1980 TR8 which I use for local driving and events. I joined the club year ago and with being webmaster all comes together.
